IBA’27-School

Mit der IBA-School bietet die Internationale Bauausstellung 2027 StadtRegion Stuttgart (IBA’27) Studierenden die Möglichkeit, sich mit den Projekten und Themen der IBA’27 auseinanderzusetzen. Sie können sich mit ihren Arbeiten am Diskurs zur Zukunft der Region beteiligen.
Von 2017 bis 2019 fanden Summer Schools zu einzelnen IBA-Vorhaben statt. Internationale Studierende arbeiteten in Workshops intensiv an einem der für die IBA’27 relevanten Themen. Mit dem wachsenden Interesse an der IBA’27 wurde das Konzept »School« umstrukturiert, um mehr Studierenden eine Chance zu bieten, ihre Ideen und Konzepte einzubringen. Mit der Website school.iba27.de ist eine Plattform entstanden, die studentische Arbeiten verschiedener Fakultäten wie Architektur, Landschaftsplanung, Städtebau, Partizipation, Stadtplanung und Geografie sichtbar macht.

Sie bietet eine Bühne, auf der Arbeiten von Studierenden gezeigt werden, die den Weg der IBA bis zum Präsentationsjahr 2027 bereichern und den Aufbruch in der Stadtregion Stuttgart sicht- und greifbar machen.

With the IBA-School, the International Building Exhibition 2027 StadtRegion Stuttgart (IBA’27) offers students the opportunity to engage with the projects and themes of the IBA. They can participate in the discourse on the future of the region with their work.
Summer schools on individual IBA projects took place from 2017 to 2019. International students worked intensively in workshops on one of the topics relevant to the IBA’27. With the growing interest in the IBA’27, the »School« concept was restructured to offer more students a chance to contribute their ideas and concepts.
With the website school.iba27.de, a platform has been created that makes visible student work from various faculties such as architecture, landscape planning, urban planning, participation, urban planning and geography. It offers a stage on which the work of students is shown that enriches the path of the IBA up to the presentation year 2027 and makes the awakening in the Stuttgart urban region visible and tangible.
